Let’s start with you, moving the slider from one side to another.
~In pretty much everything, it takes effort to see things in a different light.
Hi, I’m Kim, and I’m sorry to start with a huge photo of myself. I’m one of the older millennials in their 30s, and I’m a mom, wife, and a corporate junkie who does digital marketing for a living.
I’ve been writing digital diaries since 2005, and I’ve been able to keep a personal blog active for quite a while because there’s no burnout, in terms of blogging, when you’re mainly creating for yourself and you do it on a whim to satisfy a hobby.
Blogging lets me reconnect with my own voice and aesthetics without them being subject to anyone else’s taste. This page is my safe expanse where I can spill myself purely 🤍 and where I don’t need to force out content because I’ll create, only when I’m in the mood and have the time and mental space for it.
I think my written words are more eloquent than my actual self, and I’m embracing this stark contrast between how I can be mild and articulate in conveying my thoughts as a “writer” and how I bluntly express myself sans filter in person.
~Please feel free to drop comments on this page or on any of my entries. I don’t moderate comments because I’m lazy in that aspect and we love our democracy — unless they’re about loans, pyramiding, and anything that sounds like a money scam that I’ll delete in a heartbeat. 📌
I picked a tender unfolding as a blog name because I see life in the same way, for better or for worse. 🌱🍃🍁🥀
